Biography

Epameinondas Antonakos was born in Athens, Greece in 1986. He received his Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece in 2011. During 2011-2012 he was a Research Assistant in the Computer Vision, Speech Communication & Signal Processing (CVSP) Group, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NTUA, under the supervision of Prof. Petros Maragos.

Currently, he is a Research Assistant/PhD student at the Department of Computing at Imperial College London, under the supervision of Prof. Maja Pantic and Dr. Stefanos Zafeiriou. His research interests lie in the field of Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning with applications in HCI.
