Dr. Brais Martinez
Biography
I received a BC degree in Mathematics from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela in 2003. By 2004 I joined the CMTech group, led by Dr. Binefa, at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where I started studying Computer Vision problems, mostly related to tracking and in particular working with thermal imagery. I received a MD in Computer Science from this same University in 2006.
In 2008, the CMTech group moved to Universitat Pompeu Fabra, also in Barcelona. I have been with the UPF since then and until 2010, when I got my PhD from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Since October 2010 I hold a Postdoctoral position at Imperial College under the supervision of Prof. Pantic, having Face Analysis as the main focus of my research.
