Biography

Dr Javier Orozco received the degree of MSc in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2007. He received the degree of Ph.D in Computer Science in 2009 from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). In 2005 he received a postgraduate scholarship from the Computer Vision Centre at UAB. Next, he was Teacher Assistant at UAB between 2006 and 2008. In 2009 he was Research Engineer at the ISELab of the Computer Vision Centre of the UAB.

Dr. Orozco has been member of several Spanish and European projects researching in areas such as Facial Action Tracking, Head Pose Estimation, Facial Expression Recognition and Human Action Recognition in Crowded Spaces.

From 2009 he is a Research Engineer at Buhler Sortex in the R&D Department. In 2010 he joined the i-Bug group at Imperial College as Research Associate.
