Mr. Abhinav Shukla completed his Bachelors (Hons) and Masters by Research in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad in 2017 and 2018 respectively. He was also a visiting researcher at the National University of Singapore from Sept 2017 - May 2018.

He was as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Maja Pantic and Dr. Stavros Petridis at iBUG from October 2018 to March 2022. During his PhD, he worked on self-supervised audiovisual representation learning and affective computing. His PhD thesis was titled "Learning Self-Supervised Representations of Audiovisual Human-Centric Data".
