Biography

Mehdi is a PhD student with Dr Stefanos Zafeiriou supported by a Department of Computing scholarship. Prior to his PhD, he spent a year in the industry working as a speech recognition engineer and as a data scientist. He obtained the MSc in Advanced Computing with Distinction from Imperial College London as well as the "Diplôme d'Ingénieur" (MSc) in Applied Mathematics from Grenoble Institute of Technology - Ensimag (France) in 2016. His research interests are at the intersection of Bayesian non-parametrics, geometry, and deep learning.
